A "Wackelstein" is a relic from the ice age. Melting glaciers left huge stones scattered throughout the landscape of the Woodquarter. In some places, these stones came to rest on a slab of stone in such a precarious manner, that even one man or woman can make them rock significantly by pushing them. Therefore, these stones are called "Wackelsteine", which could literally be translated as "rocking stones".
