Amaliendorf itself lies in the northern part of the Woodquarter (Waldviertel) between Schrems and Heidenreichstein. If you're coming by car from the direction of Vienna you'll have two possibilities to come to the festival. Have a look here if you come by train.
The first possibility is to drive into the direction of Schrems, then you have to get off the street (B2) into the direction of Heidenreichstein around street kilometer 108.4 (right after Schrems - or before Schrems if you come from the other direction). Then you go on straight ahead until you reach Aalfang. There you should look out for a crossing on the right hand side with a sign saying "Amaliendorf". From there it is only one kilometer until you're right in Amaliendorf. There you follow the street until you see a green sign on the right-hand side saying "Wackelstein". At the end of that road lie the camping ground and the parking lot for the festival - Welcome! You made it!
The other possibility is to drive right away into the direction of Heidenreichstein. There you just follow the street (always into the direction of Schrems and Gmünd). After you left Heidenreichstein, follow the road until you see a sign on the left-hand side saying "Amaliendorf". Following the sign you will come straight into Amaliendorf. Once more follow the road, this time until you see a green sign on the left-hand side, which says "Wackelstein". At the end of that road lie the camping ground and the parking lot for the festival - Welcome! You made it!
Throughout the period of the festival we will place additional signs starting at Schrems and Heidenreichstein. If you look out for them, you will have no problems to find the festival grounds.
