The ÖBB (Austrian Railroad Company) has a great offer that is called Einfach Raus. With this ticket groups of 2-5 people pay 28 € together.
If you want to come by train, the best possibility will be to go to Gmünd (using the Franz-Josefs-Bahn), from where we will provide a shuttle service to the festival grounds and back again. Even if a train should be delayed, our shuttle will wait for you. The fee for the shuttle is 1 Euro per person (children up to and including 14 years are exempt). For the festival 2011 these shuttles follow the following schedule:

For the romantic or railway loving among you there sometimes exists the possibility to go from Heidenreichstein to Aalfang (near Amaliendorf) by a narrow-gauge train. From there you can hike about two kilometers to the festival grounds. It is definitely not the fastest way to go there but maybe a worthwhile alternative. You can find information about the narrow-gauge railway here.
