Guitars, bouzoukis and so forth play an important role as backing instruments in Irish Folk music. This workshop offers the opportunity to learn interesting tunings for guitar (DADGAD and GGDGCD) and bouzouki (GDAE), and to study the first rhythmic patterns for the backing of jigs, reels and polkas.
For us to be able to get an approximate grasp on the number of people who will be attending it would be great if you could register already beforehand. Of course that is not strictly necessary - you can also just drop by while you are at the festival.
