In his workshop the author of the standard textbook for Bodhrán ("The Bodhrán Book") and North American Champion for Bodhrán, Steáfán Hannigan, will cover hand styles, the single stick technique and patterns. Jigs, reels, slip jigs but also Balkan rhythms will be treated. The workshop is directed at slightly advanced and advanced bodhrán players.
For us to be able to get an approximate grasp on the number of people who will be attending it would be great if you could register already beforehand. Of course that is not strictly necessary - you can also just drop by while you are at the festival.
