Centered on Franziska "Großmütterchen" ("granny") Hatz this young quintet is playing a powerful mixture of Klezmer, Balkan, and Latin tunes. This repertoire is permeated by grounded as well as groovy Viennese and Classical sounds. Their music will as much capture your attention to listen as to jump up, flail your arms and dance.

The Großmütterchen Hatz Salon Orkestar has played the 2011 international accordion festival in Vienna, they are planning a tour through Germany and Britain, and at our festival they will shake you up seriously once again before the festival starts to near its end for this year.
