Hotel Palindrone is an exceptional band that raises acclaim all over the world. One of the extraordinary things that it is easy to put a finger on is that these musicians play virtuously on more instruments than most people could name without serious thinking. Hotel Palindrone lightly joins that virtuosity with a large variety of European folk traditions and influences from Jazz and Classical music. Passionate improvisation meets fiery grooves and they mingle with joy and fun on stage and in the audience.

Already in the first year of the Wackelsteinfestival, Hotel Palindrone was cheered and cherished by the audience. Throughout the festival grounds people spontaneously started to dance, the atmosphere peaked, and we organizers were standing there with big and watery eyes, hardly believing what was going on. This year, on the fifth anniversary, it was about time to have Hotel Palindrone on our stage once more.
