On first sight it might surprise you that our festival is opened by the pupils of the local primary school.

Here's your chance for a second look:

Our festival does not in any way try to rake in money (we are happy to get out of it with something around zero loss). Rather we endeavor to bring good music to the Woodquarter and, especially, to support the local music scene and local musicians.

Is there a better way to do so than to start with supporting children?

Moreover, these children come from Amaliendorf itself, where our festival takes place. This spring they will fathom their musical talents with the aid of their school director, of Zappa from the legendary Bluesplumpm, and of Sigi, the guitar player of SINE. At our festival they will have the opportunity to present their musical achievements and enthusiasm on stage.
